Temperature measurement by resistance thermometers relies on a feature which is common to all conductors and semiconductors: their electrical resistance is subject to variation with changing temperature. PT100 sensor has a resistance of 1000 ohms at 0 °C.

Easy-Up PT1000 are linked to a numeric code (password) to be entered on selected Pixsys controllers in order to set automatically the main operating parameters (type of sensor, measuring range...).

Other than PT100, the higher signal of PT1000 allows higher accuracy, avoiding also the necessity of a third wire. measuring range and construction details make it suitable for airconditioning or industrial processes requiring decimal accuracy.
