MCM260Xs are data acquisition modules. The complete series includes six different combinations of free-programmable analog and digital I/Os. Originally conceived as data acquisition/actuation modules for Pixsys PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and HMIs (human machine interfaces), the MCM260X modules are easily integrated with third-party devices thanks to the CANopen and Modbus-RTU interfaces (EDS files are also provided).
Addressing and setting of communication parameters are possible by using a 4-digit display and function keys integrated underneath the front panel. It is also possible viaNFC (near field communication) using MyPixsys App, flagship of all Pixsys recent product lines, time-saving and not requiring any wiring nor power supply of the modules.
The devices are supported by Pixsys Logiclab development tool for quick integration into projects with other Pixsys devices. MCM260-9AD module isUL-listed (Underwriters Laboratories).
Version 5AD and 9AD are also CANopen conformance tested and certified by CAN in Automation (CiA), proving that the device is compliant to the CANopen application layer and communication profile CiA 301.
