Relative pressure transmitter with steel film technology.
The steel film is sensitive to deformation: pressure applied to the transmitter will cause a deformation of the film that can be measured and converted into a linear 4...20mA signal.
The transmitter power supply can be taken directly from the 4...20mA signal. The AISI316L steel housing also allows applications in the food industry; the 1/4 "GAS process connection and M12 connector make field installation easy using standard structured wiring cables.
This type of transmitter is commonly used in industrial contexts and can be used to measure gas and liquid pressure.
