Using containers on Pixsys WebPanels

Labelling a product for a specific category might end up in missing its full potential. Pixsys 𝗪𝗣 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 is labelled as “𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹” but they rely exactly on the same architecture of our TC Codesys panels, thus opening for them a huge potential far behind the classic web-browsing function! Both series feature same OS Linux Yocto 5.0  and same choice of CPUs with increasing levels of performances to meet even the most demanding applications.  Key feature is the capability of supporting containers as separate sections where the user can create own Debian workspaces to deploy his chosen application, eliminating the risk to damage the filesystem, supported also by the Factory reset to restore original settings. “Rootless by design” containerization by Podman enables enhanced security and greatest flexibility in the choice of software for embedded applications, not limited to Pixsys recommended tools.
